1. View multiple examples of each tissue on Google images. The first tissue will be correct, but as you work your way through the images, you will find many that are misidentified.
2. Compare the right tissue images with the wrong ones. Note the factors that led to your decisions.
3. When possible, be aware of location of each tissue: a. Are they on or below the surface? b. What other tissues are they in contact with? c. Are there any special features that appear coinsistent?
Once you get a sense of the "gestalt" of the tissues, identification will become easier. Gestalt, in this sense, means "the essence".
